Forte Minerals Corp.
No specific catalyst identified, with momentum following Forte's addition to the CSE 25 Index in the September rebalancing the likely driver, and today's only release a grant of 1.72 million options at C$1.50 and 200,000 DSUs. Focus is the Alto Ruri high-sulphidation gold project in Peru, 15km from Barrick's former Pierina mine, where Forte is pursuing permits and a community agreement to test a 2km by 1.5km alteration zone. Historical 1997 drilling by Buenaventura there returned 131m at 2.55g/t Au from surface, including 54m at 5.39g/t Au, with true widths undetermined.
